A retired scientist, Peter is Chairman of the IAF. Married to Hazel, with two grown-up sons, Peter is a member of St Peter's Church, Farnborough. He is committed to improving the opportunities available to the poor of India and Africa.

After 28 years’ service in the Royal Air Force, Mark served as the Director of the Armed Forces’ Christian Union, with a membership of over 2000 men and women. He also chaired Flame International, a mission organisation that operates in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Mark is committed to improving the opportunities available to the poor of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Nigeria.

Helen is a retired UK nurse who was born and brought up in the village of Ikot Ayan Itam and is passionate to help the people of her village. She had a long standing vision for a small hospital and to provide drinking water in the village. Helen is now mostly based in Nigeria, she works as part of the Indoneyin Trust to continue to improve the lives of the villagers, to make the new health centre a 24 hour operation and to secure its long term sustainability.

Mrs Claudaline Muhindo is the coordinator for ASDIG. Her passion is for the vulnerable people of Kivu – mainly the impoverished women and children and those who have been sexually abused.

Bishop Désiré Mukanirwa, Claudine's husband, is the chairman of the charity. His main role is one of advocacy on behalf of the charity – locally, nationally and internationally. (Sadly Bishop Desire died on 11 July 2020 after a short illness leaving Claudaline and the 4 children)

Shadrach was born in a remote village in the centre of India. He was educated in a mission school, he went on to gain a BSc and BEd and became a teacher, but never forgot his roots. He left teaching and joined the church and studied at The United Theological College in Bangalore. In June 2000 Shadrach started a village crèche project in the village of Muranpur, called 'Neerekshe' which means 'Hope’ - the birth of the Neerekshe Trust.

A founding member of the Trust, Emma works as a high school English teacher in private school in Raichur. She is committed to working with the poor children of villagers and is passionate to bring happiness into the lives of these underprivileged children and youth.

Another founding member of Emma Trust, Samuel works as computer assistant at the Trust. He is committed to improve the quality and opportunities in life available to the people in the villages (both men adn women) and to build relationship with communities.
